Vintage Victorian Banded Agate Necklace

Wonderful Vintage Victorian Banded Agate Earrings. The large banded agates in these beauties were a Vintage find (exact age unknown) . Victorians were fascinated by these gems and believed that natural gemstones had protective and healing properties. Each drop is about 18mm in diameter and end in aged brass tips. The tops are gunmetal French lever style for pierced ears. 1 5/8 inches from vey top to bottom. Each drop about 18mm in diameter. Each earring about 11.6 grams.
